ABOUT US

We Advocate for American Mining.

AEMA is a 129-year-old, 1,800+ member, national association representing the minerals industry. We are the recognized national voice for exploration, the junior mining sector, maintaining access to public lands, and represent the entire mining life cycle, from exploration through production, to reclamation and closure.

Represented by our volunteer-based Board of Trustees, AEMA's diverse membership includes every facet of the mining industry — including geology, exploration, mining, engineering, equipment manufacturing, technical services, and sales of equipment and supplies.

As an effective and proactive voice for the North American mining community, we successfully influence the outcome of political dialogue, build effective working strategies with key elected officials, and develop and coordinate industry responses to legislative and regulatory issues.
